How will our relationship work?
Since we know we must earn your business on each and every service, we do not use contracts. We depend on open communications and your candid evaluation of service.
Who will be in your home?
The same person will clean your home each scheduled cleaning.
At what time will my house be cleaned?
Our hours are from Monday-Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. You will be scheduled during these times. You may request cleanings before or after 12:00.
Do I need to be home?
It is not necessary to be home, in fact most of our clients are not home. All keys are kept in a safe in my office. For security reasons we do the following. We do not make copies of any keys. If you choose not to provide a key and we're unable to access your home for a scheduled cleaning you may incur a lockout charge.
Do I need to provide any supplies or equipment?
For your convenience equipment and ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY cleaning supplies are provided by Harriet's Maid-2-Clean, LLC. We have done a lot of research on what works best on hard water stains, furniture polish and on hardwood floors. We would be pleased to accommodate you should you wish to use your own preferred supplies. If you prefer your own supplies we do ask you leave them in a tote or bucket so we can easily carry them around the house. Also, we ask that you leave one roll of paper towels.
Do I have to do anything before a cleaning?
In order to give you the greatest value, we ask you to take a few minutes the night before to pick up extraneous clothing, toys, and other household items. We look forward to coming and getting started cleaning right away!
What will Harriet's Maid-2-Clean, LLC do in my home?
Our free in-home estimate allows us to better understand your cleaning needs and expectations. Our service includes high dusting, removing cobwebs, dusting all fan blades, basic dusting, and vacuuming or mopping throughout. Cupboard fronts are damp-wiped, floors are washed and kitchen and bathrooms cleaned and scrubbed(click on 'Our Services' for a full list of our 'General' & 'Premium' cleaning). We will try our very best to accommodate all your cleaning needs.
How do you deal with pets?
We deal with many types of animals on a daily basis and will work with you to arrange the best solution for your pets.
How will I pay for my cleaning?
Payment is accepted the day services are rendered. Simply leave payment in an envelope clearly marked Harriet's Maid-2-Clean, LLC. We accept cash or checks made out to "Harriet's Maid-2-Clean LLC". Also, for your convenience we're now accepting PayPal.
How will I know when to expect my cleanings?
Harriet's Maid-2-Clean, LLC will call or email you 24-48 hours before to remind you of your cleaning.
What if I need to change a scheduled cleaning?
Just give the office a call or drop us an email at least 48 hours in advance!
Are you insured and bonded?
It is very important that anyone working in your home/office be insured and bonded. Harriet's Maid-2-Clean, LLC is fully insured and bonded.
Do you background check your employees?
Yes, all of our staff is background checked. They are hand picked and trained in all aspects of housekeeping and customer service.
What if something is damaged when my home is cleaned?
We treat your home with the greatest of care; however, should damage or breakage occur while we are cleaning your home, we will make every effort to have the item repaired, or replaced if it cannot be repaired. Insurance claims will be filed when appropriate. We do need to know within 24 hours of a cleaning.
How much do Home Cleaning cost?
Every home is different, that is why we like to come and meet with you in your home to better understand your cleaning needs. Rates will vary based on a couple of factors: size of home, pets present, number of people living in the home, etc.
How often should my home be cleaned?
We will work with you to develop a schedule to suite your needs. Most clients have us visit weekly or bi-weekly. We also do one time cleanings, monthly, special occasions, move-in/move-out cleanings.
Is your service Guaranteed?
All of our cleaning is 100% guaranteed. If you are ever dissatisfied with any portion of your cleaning please call the office by the following day at 10am so we can arrange for one of our employees to come by and fix what ever is in question.
